Construction

Sources

Dimensions/displacement/sail area per sailboatdata.com; produced 2001-2010. Hull is E-glass/PVC-foam sandwich, female-mold built; vinylester resin used for the outer (osmosis-resistant) layers with polyester resin for the rest of the structural laminate, per X-Yachts' own construction description for this era -- classified as polyester (majority/structural resin), noting X-Yachts moved its entire range to full epoxy infusion construction only from 2018 onward, after this model's production run. Mast confirmed tapered carbon fiber, custom-designed for this model, double-spreader rig. Deep performance keel (8'2") with lead bulb typical of X-Yachts racer-cruisers. Verified 2026-07-09. [Rudder/tankage/electrical update, 2026-07-16]: Spade rudder, composite/performance-oriented keel and rudder design (construction material not independently confirmed). Fuel 100L/26.4gal, water 210L/55.5gal. No holding-tank or electrical-system data found.
