Dimensions/displacement/sail area (standard keel) per sailboatdata.com; a 5'3" shoal-draft option also existed. First built by Uniflite (Bellingham, WA) 1973, later by Valiant Yachts in Texas from 1984; hull #101-#~300 range covers this era. Hull is solid (uncored), hand-laid fiberglass; resin history is genuinely mixed/era-dependent -- a fire-retardant 'Hetron' resin used 1976-1981 caused well-documented blistering issues, while boats before and after that window used isophthalic polyester -- too variable across the production run to assign a single resin type, so left not_specified. Mast material not explicitly documented in available sources; defaulted to aluminum (standard for the era/type). Cutter rig with twin headstays is a defining Bob Perry design feature. Verified 2026-07-09. [Rudder/tankage/electrical update, 2026-07-16]: Skeg-hung rudder; rudderpost is 1.75in-diameter stainless steel bar on three bearings. Fuel ~95gal average (90gal single aluminum tank without genset, or 110gal in two saddle tanks with the genset option), water 120gal, holding tank 15gal.
