Dimensions/displacement/sail area per sailboatdata.com; over 100 hulls built since 1999. Used the keel/centerboard configuration (draft 4.0 ft board-up / 8.0 ft board-down, listed here as the deeper figure); a fixed shoal ('beavertail') keel option of 5.0 ft draft with the same displacement/ballast was also offered. Hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline, balsa-cored above, laid up using Tartan's own VARTM vacuum-infused epoxy process (per Tartan Yachts' own 'Epoxy Hulls' marketing and construction descriptions) -- classified as epoxy; isophthalic polyester/vinylester are used only for anti-blister gelcoat-adjacent layers per some secondary sources. Mast standard carbon fiber (built by Novis Marine/Aspire Spars, a Tartan affiliate) since roughly 2005. Verified 2026-07-09. [Rudder/tankage/electrical update, 2026-07-16]: High-aspect spade rudder: foam-cored fiberglass blade with a 304 stainless steel rudderstock. Fuel 143L/~37gal (a secondary source cites 38gal), water 302L/~79gal (a listing for one specific hull cites 80gal). No holding-tank or electrical-system data found.
