Dimensions/displacement/sail area per sailboatdata.com and Catalina Yachts; used the deep-fin-keel configuration (draft 6'8", displacement 13,800 lb) -- a wing-keel option exists at 4'6" draft with higher displacement (14,800 lb)/ballast (6,200 lb). Hull is solid fiberglass, with Catalina's own literature describing the bulk structural laminate as polyester resin and only the exterior skin coat as vinylester (anti-blister barrier); classified here as polyester for the primary structural resin. Deck is balsa-cored. Verified 2026-07-09. [Rudder/tankage/electrical update, 2026-07-16]: Balanced rudder: hand-laminated fiberglass over a foam core with a 316 stainless steel core/post, low-friction bearings. Fuel 113L/~29.9gal, water 340L/~89.8gal (a secondary source citing 3 tanks totaling 101gal wasn't independently confirmed), holding tank 102L/~26.9gal. No electrical-system data found.
