The user's request specified 'Beneteau Oceanis 40 (current/recent generation)'; Beneteau's current-production 40-footer is actually branded Oceanis 40.1 (launched 2019, in production), which supersedes the earlier, differently-designed Oceanis 40 (2007-2013, Berret-Racoupeau). Used the current 40.1 model and named it accordingly to avoid misattributing specs to the wrong hull. Dimensions/displacement per Yachting Monthly review and sailboatdata.com; used the 'performance keel' draft/ballast figures (deeper of two options) as the representative configuration. Hull described as resin-infused hull with polyester resin, injection-molded deck, per SAIL Magazine construction reporting. Mast confirmed Z-Spar aluminum, standard; carbon offered only as part of optional performance package upgrades. Verified 2026-07-09. [Rudder/tankage/electrical update, 2026-07-16]: Twin rudders (spade-type, standard for this wide-transom hull form; not independently confirmed as composite/metal construction). Fuel 195L/52gal, water 235L/62gal. No holding-tank or electrical-system data found.
